“A nice place to relax and a good homebase for trips to the outback”When looking for an affordable accomodation in Alice Springs, we found Seb’s hostel. Although we’re actually not really travelling as backpackers anymore, we really liked the place. The double room we had was fine, toilets and showers were clean and the garden was really nice, with a pool and places to sit and chill, decorated with attention to nice details. Friendly atmosphere. We stayed there the nights before and after our outback trip and benefited from a special offer (for the 2nd night, we only paid the double room upgrade). Very friendly and helpful staff. For our outback tour, they even borrowed us a sleeping bag and fly net for free and we could leave our luggage with them during the trip. A good place to stay if you are going to Alice Springs and the Red center!Patrick AStayed October 2015

The reason I particularly liked this place was the generally relaxed and homey feeling with a nice garden and little nooks to hang out. See past the old infrastructure and enjoy it for its charm. Not in the centre of town, probably and advantage if you are looking for respite from the road.
I returned 4 times in 2015 as this is a great base for exploring the region. Slept in 6 bed dorm, 3 bed caravan, own room in donga and even swag on the grass for a night when booked out. 6 bed dorm was no better or worse than most. Own room OK. Caravan was the best experience.
Staff were always friendly and bent over backwards to be helpful with things like storage.
There was a good mix of age groups and short/long term residents. People were friendly. This is not generally a rowdy party joint.Bo E
